Heart on my sleeve moment:
Let me tell ya'll something. You can be as big and as tough on the outside as you wanna be, often making people think you don't need anyone but losing a friend HURTS. I'm not talking about losing a friend to death either, rather losing a friend because you grew apart or fell out and the issue wasn't resolved. It may not hurt both parties but all I know is if someone truly means anything to you, their absence in your life crushes your soul. I've experienced it before and I hope not to ever again in this lifetime, losing a deep connection or close bond you've made with someone.
That's why I work so hard to keep my close ones near and dear and make sure they know I love 'em. There are all these broken friendships out here between people who were "friends" for decades who barely speak if they cross paths or avoid each other like the plague on social media commenting around each other's posts.
All of this strung from fake reality shows. What happened to the times where people stuck together to work through their issues and the slight things didn't prompt disposal of those who were once someone important?
